Patient-Based Online Advisory Boards

August 10, 2016Case Study

Patients have quickly become a new resource in efforts to improve the healthcare industry. As active participants in their own care, patients are more motivated to improve the system, engaging as collaborators in conducting clinical research. But, due to hectic schedules, patient advisors aren’t easy to come by.

The following case study describes how a pharma company was able to effectively engage patients on their own time using Within3’s virtual advisory board platform.

I prefer virtual advisory boards because there’s time to reflect on comments. Often times, questions posed are clinically challenging with no right answer. Being able to read and then reflect on this allows participants to offer a better answer.
